The USB 3.0 Gigabit SFP adapter allows you to extend your laptop to an SFP connection and to connect directly to a fiber optic network via a suitable fiber optic transceiver. This fiber optic interface is the right choice both for mobile use in connection with laptops and for stationary use in desktop systems.
